Talk about character assassination. People who try to make something out of this and know the context of the comment are not practicing Christian values. It might score political points, but it is wrong. The ends do not justify the means.

You need to go to work for a campaign.
You clearly have no experience whatsoever in politics.
It would be quite an education for you and would help you understand how it works.
Really. That isn’t meant as a put-down to you at all. I just think you might be naive or young and I am just trying to steer you in a helpful way.

The context and overall meaning were not the points:

THE POINT IS: Freudian slips can show the truth hidden behind the screen.

If he'd been talking about his coffee pot and said this, it would mean as much.

How is this wrong? It’s not like we doctored the video and audio to make it appears as if he said something he didn’t.

The American people are smart enough to watch it and decide for themselves if he’s either a muslim or an idiot who doesn’t even know what faith he is today. Rest assured, it’s fair and the American people will be able to sort it out if you just share this info with them.
