Though McCain's choice of Sarah Palin definitely got my attention, it is not the reason I will be voting for him. It is because of McCain's acceptance speech.

I listened to his speech and found that he offered absolutely nothing new. Well, nothing new for McCain. He said the same old thing he has always said. And it was then I realized that I could trust McCain. At least I could trust McCain to always be McCain.

There are few politicians we can trust to know where they will stand on an issue and even fewer that will not sell their out their ideals. McCain is one of those men. And though I often am at odds with his opinion, I will never have to worry about McCain selling out America.

That is why I am not voting for Palin nor am I voting against Obama, I will be voting for Sen. John McCain.

but most Americans didn’t hear it until now. Everything was Obama, Obama, Obama and only a couple hundred here and there to listen to what McCain had to say on school choice or tax cuts.
