Jesse Ventura: Palin is Too Inexperienced
Newsmax ^ | 9/8/08 | Dave Patten

Posted on 09/08/2008 2:48:32 PM PDT by pissant

Former Minnesota Gov. Jesse Ventura, who flirted with running for president as an independent, tells Newsmax that Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is too inexperienced to serve as vice president.

“Now here she is, after not even having been there for two years, she’s now going to be the VP!?” asked the 57-year-old actor and former pro wrestler.

“I can tell you, after two years of being governor, you still don’t always fully understand being governor. And now she’s going to be a heartbeat away from a man who already had cancer, and he’s 73 years old.

“I mean, realistically, John McCain could drop dead a week into office. She would then be the top person in the world. Is she prepared for that? I don’t believe so, having been a governor. After not even serving two years as governor, I was not prepared to be president.”

Ventura also took Palin to task for not completing her term as Alaska’s governor.

“I believe in finishing the job you originally got elected to,” he tells Newsmax. “Sarah Palin owes the state of Alaska two more years of being its governor. That was the agreement she made with voters.”

The former Navy SEAL commando added, “That’s like joining the Navy, and deciding after two years you’d rather be a real estate person, so you’ll quit the Navy. Well, it doesn’t quite work that way, does it? And that’s how I feel about it. I feel Sarah Palin owes two years yet to her home state serving as governor before she serves as the vice president. She should have turned it down, in my opinion. She’s not ready for it.”

Is this the same guy who, with similar experience as Palin, last week said he would run for President in 2012?

FWIW

Fermented horse urine is probably worth more than Jesse's opinion on the matter.

What, does the media interview EVERY LOSER ON EARTH, until they find some sexist pig to bad mouth Palin?

“Sarah Palin owes the state of Alaska two more years of being its governor. That was the agreement she made with voters.”

Wouldn't that be for the voters to decide in November? A lot of nerve to speak for voters from a guy who doesn't even live in the country half the year.

Which is very little if nothing. Jesse is now a truther who is going to join Ron Paul and his merry band of conspiracy theorist.

Jesse, how popular were you again? What did you accomplish for your state? How’d that re-election turn out for you?

Apperently, you’ve got time to bleed...

But the O-man being MIA in the Senate is o-kay.

Jessie's taken too many hits.

She's not running for President... she accepted McCain's offer to be a running mate and if she felt she wasn't ready for national politics, she would have turned it down. No one is ready to be President!

Maybe we should get the opinions of Sgt Slaughter, The Rock, and Stone Cold Steve Austin before we make up our mind?
