What amazing personal strength to be able to care for a Downs Syndrome child. I sometimes wonder if I would have such strength and patience. I guess that doesn't speak to well for me.

What it does...is probably reflect what most reasonable people would think.

My cousin's very young daughter had a Downs boy....albeit unexpected.

The boy is loved. Absolutely.

Is he a challenge? Absolutely.

Is he a joy? Absolutely.

Life isn't smooth.........

My 41-year-old sister, Gloria, has Down’s Syndrome... it is really nice to finally be fashionable! :) Just kidding; it is hard work, but worth every minute of it.
