Props to Barry Obama for nipping at the heels of the GOP's #2.

Here is the difference in this race.

Obama is still preaching to the choir, while McCain/Palin are trying to reach out to undecideds.

If Obama was smart, he would have only devoted 15 seconds to Sarah Palin, and focus all of his energy on McCain. The Obama that got to this point would have said, “I applaud Senator McCain for picking a woman, it shows how much progress we’ve made in this country, although we may disagree on many issues.”

But this part of the campaign is unchartered waters for Obama, he’s never had to deal with serious GOP opposition in any of his Senate races. And he clearly doesn’t quite know what to do. He is not in his element, and it shows.

Lately, Barry thinks he's a comedian; he's going for laughs at Gov. Palin's expense, but the only ones laughing are the toothless, unemployed, old druggies who are at his rallies!

No wonder he can't raise funds, they're all on welfare!!!

Our local Philadelphia news covered the rally in Lancaster Pa. today with Mac and Sarah. They interviewed some of the people in attendance who were really pumped. After they were finished the reporter told a story about an elderly lady he interviewed that proclaimed that Sarah Palin was McCain's political Viagra. lol

Yes, he seems like the dorky kid that comes up to a big group of the cool kids in high school and cracks an incredibly lame joke.

Obama is gut shot now, and we will be watching his death throws over the next 60 days.

Gut shot is right. It is sad and hard to watch, but has a certain finality to it.

The fact that he got a standing ovation for the remark tells you exactly what he meant. Otherwise it would have gone over as an old joke.
