IMHO, it would be a disaster of epic proportions for 0Bama if he threw Biden under the bus and tried to snag Hillary or Selebius(sp?), for many reasons.

-Any move along these lines would be seen for the crass pandering that it is. Only the hardest core moonbat would buy any other story. That’s assuming Hillary or Selebius would even deign to consider the VP at this point. My feeling would be “oh, I wasn’t good enough when you were winning, but now you need my help? Bleep you and the horse you rode in on, buddy.”

-It would raises enormous questions on the “judgment” 0bama keeps harping about. The guy you picked to be your second, after long deliberation and vetting, suddenly isn’t good enough? How can we trust you to appoint Dog Catcher after that?

-Even more damaging on the judgment issue, it would define 0bama as someone who cuts and runs when things get tough. Part of being a leader of *any sort* is standing by your decisions, and accepting the consequences when they don’t work out like you planned. The world is watching, and you can bet that any perceived (read: exploitable) weakness by a candidate will be noted by both our allies and rivals.

-Biden has no reason to go quietly into that night. I dislike Biden, but he’s given the 0bama camp no cause for his dismissal. Were I him, I would raise ten kinds of Cain if I were asked to step off the ticket.

The fact that we are even entertaining this in such a manner is telling.
