I made a mistake, he is a pastor not a priest. However this does not change my original comment.
PERFECT!!!
Glad to see you back in action Jim!
Sounds like the ranting of someone who voted for that nanny-stater Hucksterbee back in the beginning, which saddled us with McCain at the top of the ticket. Yep, the so-called “values voters” really did us a service there...
Agree completely, I am a bit of a nitpicker.
Please...I know what mccain is going to do. Just let me lie to myself long enough to vote for mccain/PALIN.
I didn’t mean to come off so serious in my previous post.
What does [Piñata rule in effect] mean?
Does that mean I’m IB4TZ?
My apologies to the Amish.
>>Yes, Sarah Palin has been the saviour of the Republican party in Alaska. Yes she has been successful in the male world of politics. But at what cost? Her seventeen year old daughter is pregnant, unmarried and pregnant. While she has been successful as a politician and in a mans world, how is she doing as a mom? Maybe, if Sarah had been content to be a Christian home schooling mom instead of mayor, political party saviour, governor and prima donna, her daughter might still be a maiden. Perhaps if Sarah had been at home when her kids got home from school her daughter might not be pregnant. Oh maybe she would be, but the odds are really against it. <<
What a pompous windbag!!!!
I’m a homeschooling mom. Do you have any clue how many kids get into trouble from homeschooling families? Tons. Tons I know personally. And let me tell you, those with this attitude have the worst kids. They hide them from the world, never letting them be exposed to reality while they are still under wing, then when the kids get out there, they make mistakes.
Come on into life and stop staring at the Word of God to make it all perfect. Our Lord promised trials and tribulations, along with the way to handle them. Not heaven on Earth.
There’s a reason why it’s said, “God won’t give you anything you can’t handle.”
Did Pastor Bob ever think that Our Lord is using that family for the good of the Life Movement? To show both sides of the spectum the the tough decisions made became the right decisions?
He needs to get out of Fantasia and live life for a while.
And why is she totally to blame for her daughter? Why does Todd, the King of his Kingdom have no responsibility in his daughter’s choices?
I don’t expect you to answer me as you will take this as a flame, but there it is.
Yea, we got some kook religious freak here in my hometown that calls himself The Old Prophet. He stands out on the roads around here with signs on him wanting to talk to people. All he does is argue with people and tell them why they are going to hell. He can’t get along with anybody, but he’s voting for Obama. Maybe you should vote for Nobama too.
Holy Swing Voters, Batman!!!
I never thought I’d see the day!
Who said PA is sewn u?
Meanwhile, Obama is still trying to text message them.
'Cuse my French, but you just don't know McCain. It's all about him.
I'm not saying that it's all bad, but my God! he has a ego!
If you want to know what the transition will look like, for example, just look at the start of his campaign when it took a great deal of time and staff firings, resignations, and shakeups, just to get it closer to the way he wanted. Even now, nobody in that campaign says or thinks a single independent thought without his permission, and if they do, it's straight under the bus!
I fear you may be in a dreamland, if you can't admit that much. Why do you think we have been throwing rocks at him for twenty years.
I understand completely...................and sympathize.
Your high regard for your personal fortitude appears unwarranted by anything posted so far.
Good grief. This is worthy of projectile vomiting. It is exactly this kind of spew that gives good Christians a bad name. Getting lumped in with these Phelps type holy rollers is destructive.
Step back into reality. Sheesh.
No.
David would have voted for McCain because McCain has steadfastly defended the right to life of the unborn throughout his career while Obama has steadfastly defended the right of abortionists to kill even babies born alive.
Those who loudly and publicly proclaim that they are SOOOO righteous that they demand perfection before even voting on such an issue have have been addressed in John 8:7 and in Matthew 6:5
With the mention of a pinata, I was under the impression candy would be involved in this thread. I'm very disappointed.
He is a cocky little prick. If you put him in the same room with me, there would sure to be some hissing and spitting. However, looking at the next four or eight years and what the country needs in a President, I believe that he will be a good President and has the potential to be a great one. Every minute that he spends in the White House will grate on me but I can put that aside.
McCain is going to Washington to get things done. Some of it we won't like, I won't like, but the vast majority will be good for the country.
It won't be like the last four years. There will be a whole lotta movin' and shakin' going on. It's going to be a ride.
He will have a caustic Dem Congress, and Republicans will not be much better.
The success will come from domestic policy and spending gridlock, which is a good thing at this point. Since we usually manage by the crisis management principles when government is slip between parties, things will get done in that way and I can certainly live with that.
Palin will be in the catbird seat for 2012, and we shall see how that develops, and foreign policy will be in decent hands I think....
I also expect the rats to continue their tirades against republicans and set them up as the scape goat for all things. This is going to be the worst of the effects from a Republican win in November. If the Dems get the WH, they cannot blame republicans, and as a result, will be destroyed politically for many years to come. But we shall see.....
I am conflicted about the wisdom of wining another four years, but Obama will be nothing but a tool for the liberals and the damages would be severe and possibly irreversible.
I will make my final decision on election day. If I go to the polls, I will support the ticket. If I don't, I won't complain about the results.
