Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) had some of his harshest words yet for Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) on Friday, suggesting his colleague lacks the temperament and judgment to be president.
Reid used time on the Senate floor to talk presidential politics, lumping the GOP nominee together with President Bush and drawing a clear distinction between them and Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.), the Democratic presidential nominee.
Our dangerous world calls for leaders with sound judgment, not those with a temperament prone to recklessness, Reid said. Our country deserves more than token shifts and lip service to change. We need to take decisive action to reverse eight years of foreign policy mistakes. Thats exactly what Sen. Obama and Senate Democrats offer.
The McCain campaign did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Reid is typically critical of McCain at news conferences and in statements, but the tone of his remarks Friday took the rhetoric to a new level. Reids office acknowledged as much, but would not say whether the comments were intended to coincide with a more aggressive tack taken by the Obama campaign.

He’s a gift that keeps on giving.

Woeful.
Harry Reid = dried out prune = mylanta = tic-tac./Just Asking - seoul62.......
Reid is the pot calling the kettle black......
The House is for them to do our work - not the work of their party (admittedly, the Republicans do it too)
what new strategy? he’s started saying President McCain.......LOL (on drudge)
“That’s the new stategery, Harry?”
Talk about a pot calling a kettle black.
I wish Harry was up for reelection. He’s beatable.
His temper-tantrums are legendary--just wondered why democrats never mention Slick's emotional outbursts?? /s

Reid is scared to death of McCain.....always has been and knows he can’t control him. Now he will have a “pit bull” to deal with.
HEY! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!
This changes the entire game.
Says the guy who lacks the temperament to be the Senate majority leader... or a dog catcher...
Reid the real estate fraud thinks Washington needs to be cleaned up? He should know.
Honestly, these people have fallen into the deep dark whole. I never in my life would think this type of anger would be directed at anyone. I knew the hated Bush, but they acrually, hate all of us republicans. Rush is right. They are being totally exposed for their disgraceful beliefs and attacks on McCain/Palin and family.
whole= hole or either way in their case/
ModelBreaker thinks Reid lacks the temperament to be Senate Majority Leader.
