Gas prices will help dems. Higher they go, the more they can point fingers at the eeeveill gas companies. This could make McCain commit an unforced error.

False. Higher prices cut the Democrats platform of high energy prices right out from under them. They have lost big time on this issue.

NO WAY does higher gas prices help the democrats.
lol
Isn’t this exactly what Sarah was talking about in her convention speech? Having energy independence and not having to worry about storms in the gulf, etc.
Dems are the ones stopping progress in this area, they are the ones doing nothing about drilling and keeping prices high.

You couldn’t be more wrong. They’re the ones standing in the way of drilling. We’re the ones for it. High gas prices help us. However, I don’t hope that they increase. They’re damn high enough now and most people know they can raise at any time.

If we don’t do something now, next summer will be worse than this summer. People are realizing that.

Um...got news for you...gas prices are going down again. I paid $3.57 a gal. today.

Anyway, gas prices aren’t enough of a reason to put our beloved country in the hands of a Chicago-machine Socialist.

Maybe not. McCain and now Gov. Palin have made "drill here, drill now, pay less" a Republican talking point while the Obambi tells us to inflate our tires. I think the voters will know who to blame for higher gas prices and it won't be us.

Gas prices will go higher because of Ike. And what’s the solution to that?

Offshore drilling not concentrated in the Gulf of Mexico and drilling in ANWR.

That’s where McCain can score.
