Was it The Bard who observed, “Hell hath no wrath like a woman scorned?” I don't think I've ever seen the feminists come so completely unhinged and unglued as they have in response to Sarah Palin.

My Mom used to warn me about letting my enemies hear me complain. Her take was that it depresses your friends and encourages your enemies. I think this lady should take Mom's advice.

Not Shakespeare, for once (I mean, practically everything is...g!). William Congreve, a satirist friend of Jonathan Swift. Don't know what work it's from, sorry. The whole quote is:

''Heaven has no rage like love to hatred turned,
''Nor hell a fury like a woman scorned.''

Useless bit of trivia retained from a junior English class, long ago...sigh.
