"Once Elected, Palin Hired Friends and Lashed Foes"

But that's good.

It will counterbalance McCain's tendency to hire foes and lash friends.

It was pretty easy to peg this as an intentional lie. There are three ways to lie: Generalization, deletion or distortion. This lie was all three. They generalized her real estate experience rather than being specific. They deleted her family experience at one of the oldest dairy farms in Alaska. And they distorted her statement on the love of cows to be something laughable.

Note the comment on slaughtering dairy cows.

They are desperate.

The Saxon math texts are great. A friend of mine homeschooled and their youngest is in a math doctoral program...and I helped!

Sounds like the Slimes went out of their way to dig up all the dirt they could find from the 20% of Alaskans who don’t support Sarah Palin. Kinda makes Palin sound like a tough, no nonsense politico, unwilling to take crap from her political enemies.

Good!

Will it only get uglier? Unless there are some shocking personal emails that the NYT alludes to that magically show up in their pressroom, I doubt it. I think the problem the press encountered with Dubya back in 2000 was that the opposition press (ie the press) ran out of dirt. By 2004, they had to create their own dirt, and that backfired in a big way both for the press and their candidate. Bush didn’t commit enough gaffes during either campaign for the press to tar and feather him to death. Even then, the press tried to maintain an appearance of objectivity. It’s totally gone now. Palin seems to learn fast. And when the press attacks the VP candidate instead of the top of the ticket, it comes off as being petty. Anyone notice any mention of the top of the ticket in the article? Turning the election into a common personal vendetta amongst the New York elite is going to come out well for them. It’s kind of like diving into the middle of the Atlantic and realizing that you’re out of oxygen once you get to the bottom.

The Slimes has no credibility left.

Trust me, in the coming days we will find that this story is bizarre, exaggerated, and on salient points, simply untrue.

Furthermore, the public has tuned out the MSM as regards to these Palin smear stories. The only audience for this is at Daily KOS.

The Drivebys have relinquished their credibility. They are like the boy who cried wolf, and no one is listening to what they have to say.

The NYT used to have prestige. Now it's just another grossly biased MSM smear factory, and people view it accordingly.

I’d say this article partially intended as a warning shot to goverment bureaucrats, especially women, who might be thinking of “straying from the reservation” and voting for McCain/Palin.

“Vote for the Republicans-Lose Your Job.”

Sheesh. There are more people in downtown New York City than inhabitants of the whole state of Alaska! It is not like there is a large job applicant pool to draw from.

Besides when you are trying to clean out the old boys club, you have to put in people that you know you can trust. Who else than who you know personally have high standard of integrity?

I notice the slimes do not check out if the person is doing a good job in that position or if they are qualified, it is just that they are a friend of Palin that disqualifies them.

Well I got news for the slimes, More and more Americans have a PAL IN Palin.

This is why elections matter, FReepers!

Who do we want appointing Cabinet Members and SCOTUS judges?

Obama or McCain?

It should be crystal clear by now, no matter what the Slimes has to say.

BTW, isn’t the New York Times going bankrupt? Didn’t they just accept a huge share buyout from a rich guy in MEXICO? Gee. Wonder how THAT will slant their Editorial pages? A new Overlord from Mexico. How interesting! ;)

Yep. Hillary could have simply given the travel office their pink slips and hired anyone she wanted. But Instead she chose to try to destroy people who had done nothing to her simply because she thought she could do it and get away with it.

What Hillary did to Billy Dale was the lowest.

grammar, grammar - its one of the things that separate us from the moonbats

A little brain damage and a little ADD form a couple explosions near by, less than 10’, makes life interesting. I never was good At grammar. I still have my mechanical aptitude in tact. I would rather look stupid in my grammar than my mechanical abilities.

Throughout her career, Ms. Palin has pursued vendettas, fired officials who crossed her

Firing disloyal pukes?
How Judgemental!
(/Sarc)

What's funny is that Bill Clinton (D) fired people that hadn't even
crossed him...people he had never even met.

That's how he repopulated The Justice Department with his crew.

I sure as hell hope so... Is she going to make us wait until January? I hope she gets started in November.
