Refresh my memory - is this just like Bush getting rid of a US Attorney? Folks may not like it, but at the end of the day, she can fire without cause? If so, then why doesn’t that point get brought out more? What could the “Troopergate” investigation even do? Issue a finding that “We don’t like it.”???
McCain/Palin are running as reformers. How in the heck is any executive, Republican or Democrat, going to follow-through on that commitment if they can't even fire an "At-Will" employee?
