Chevy Chase said Monday he wants Tina Fey to go "even harder" on Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin than she did in her "Saturday Night Live" skit this past weekend ... and that he wants Fey to "decimate" her.
"I thought it was extraordinary how well she played her and much she looked like her. I'd just like her — personally I felt we didn't need the Hillary stuff — I'd like her to go even harder," the former "SNL" star told MSNBC's "Morning Joe" show.
"I want her to decimate this woman. This woman is, I can't believe there hasn't been more about it. ... It's just unbelievable to me this woman is actually running for vice president," he continued.

Absolutely right. A friend of mine worked at a grocery store in Chevy’s neighborhood a few years ago. Said he was the most miserable, rudest person you could imagine. Yelled at fans who came up to say hi, yelled at the store’s employees when he could not find products he was looking for, etc. So, this does not surprise me one bit.
I am really tired of people mis-using that word.
DECIMATE mean to kill one in every ten (usually randomly or by lots). The Romans would occasionally decimate their captured enemies in order to terrorize them and cause loss of morale.
So how, exactly, do you “decimate” an individual?

WHY is this man always seething with rage and hostility? For someone who can be so funny and goofy, he must have some severe issues that cause this anger. Every time I have read any kind of interview with him, he just spews venom.
Wasn’t Chevy Chase in the entertainment business many, many years ago? I recall seeing him on an old black and white Philco TV with my parents.

He really is a sad and bitter old man; and given the FANTASTIC living this country has provided him he has ZERO reason to be.

Chevy is just another typical celebutard. Offers nothing to back up his opinion. All emotion. And of course, he is scared.
Chevy is a spoiled liberal actor who’s hasn’t ever had to deal with daily pressures of governing at any level. He may have had some self-induced hard days of acting (after booze, drugs, women and pills) and man, that can really make remembering lines difficult - but it’s clear he’s just spewing out the company line here on Palin.
Chevy the conformist. Maybe you’ll get another shot at a ‘show’ out of this, eh, Chevy?
