Rock-Throwing Protesters Try To Drag Missing Girl's Grandfather Into Street

A group of rock-throwing protesters shined flashlights into the windows of the home of missing toddler Caylee Anthony's grandparents and fought with the family early Thursday before trying to drag Anthony's grandfather into the street.

Since Caylee's mother, Casey, was released from jail for a third time, protesters have continued to gather outside the home and become more aggressive. Several people were seen banging on the Anthony family's home and throwing rocks at the structure.

"(We're here) just to protest," a woman said outside of the home. "It's just to break them down. I think they are just protecting their daughter (Casey) which is the wrong thing to do in this case."

Grandmother Cindy Anthony ran outside with a bat in hand when the group began screaming at her husband, George, early Thursday.

A protester then reached over and tried to drag George Anthony off his property.

Local 6 reported that Cindy Anthony was pushed by a protester during the incident.

After the confrontation, George Anthony sprayed down the group of people with a hose.

By the time, officers arrived at the Anthony home, the group had left the neighborhood. No one was charged in the incident but deputies are looking at the Local 6 video.

The group of protesters yelled, "See you tomorrow" before driving away.

Search Taken To Puerto Rico

Meanwhile, George and Cindy Anthony are taking the search to find Caylee to Puerto Rico.

Cindy Anthony sat down with a Univision reporter for a one-on-one interview for the Spanish language TV station.

Anthony said she wanted to do the interview because of the large Puerto Rican viewership and she would like for the report to be played in Puerto Rico.

She said the family got tips about Caylee but could not give details about exactly where in Puerto Rico.

In the interview, Cindy Anthony said investigators told her weeks ago about evidence from the body farm.

According to investigators, the evidence suggests that Caylee is dead.

Cindy Anthony said she believes it was an intimidation tactic.

...castle doctrine...

No "castle doctrine" in Florida anymore. Now a citizen can use deadly force if he feels his life or another's life is in danger. Don't need to be in the house, don't need to "retreat" before shooting, etc.

Problem with this case is that it is taking a long time, because the girl was missing 5 weeks before the police ever knew it. Thanks to Casey.

If you remember the Scott Peterson case, it realy did take a long time, after Lacy’s body turned up, things moved fast.

I don’t think these protesters are doing a thing to help. They seem like rabble rousers more than concerned citizens.

The irritation with the Anthony’s is that they are unlike the family of Lacy Peterson, they are in denial and try to refute and accuse the police instead of really cooperating.

I am sure they have tried to get it out of Casey where her daughter is to no avail. I sure wouldn’t want to be in their shoes.

According to the bounty hunter Padilla Cindy & George were willing to take lie detector tests but Lee talked them out of it :((

Another website even suggested that Lee ( Casey's brother ) could be Caylee’s daddy and that is why there may be issues with the piece of hair that was Caylee’s in the trunk of the car .

This is a really bizarre case , but Cindy & George are enabler's which is so sad for Caylee .

I heard Casey's police intergottation tapes & Casey lies with no regrets at all . She had elaborate lies about working at Universal & etc.. with much detail she is scary ...

I think this is great. Americans are sick of the circus-like legal system we have today.

Oh, yeah, we all pine for a return to the good old days of lynching parties....

Sheesh.

So, the solution to the failings of our criminal justice system is mob justice? I don't think so.

I think the problem extends well beyond this mutant family. It's a reflection of the angst of the average American that those who break the law never suffer the consequences. Franklin Raines "steals" $100,000,000 from his exalted position but there are NO charges. The criminals who have been given massive bailouts by the gov't have millions socked away in offshore accounts and are set for life, but the gov't ALLOWS them to keep their corporate positions so they can f*ck us even more without facing any retribution!

It goes to the unfairness of the "Law" as it's applied to certain people. You and I would be thrown in the slammer for jaywalking. These morons steal billions and will be vacationing in southern France for the rest of their stinking criminal lives!

No wonder they want to throw rocks and drag liars and conspirators out into the streets! They see that no one is going to do anything to protect the innocent so they figure it's been left up to them!

I can see your frustration, I feel it too.

People tend to see that the the worst people always seem to get more protection then the victims get justice.

I guess there is more money and fame to be gained by shielding the criminals.

Cindy and George have no impulse control - they have constantly been in front of the cameras. If you recall, well before the protesters came to their home, when it was news media crawling everywhere, Cindy was constantly outside. She loves the limelight just like Casey.

I think the protesters are going too far as well and wish they would all leave. Cindy would be so disappointed she would start hounding the media again for coverage and it would drive her crazy to be ignored. Like Mother, like daughter.

absolutely, post a no trespassing sign on the property and have a scatter gun available. No matter what is transpiring in the case these idiot protestors should not be allowed to go on their property or throw rocks at their house. Where are the police?

The protesters are hurting their own cause by acting like jackasses. Their actions will take the focus off of Casey and the guilty parties and focus it instead on their intimidation and mob tactics. Bad move.

Actually, Nancy Grace has been defending these grandparents all along. She can't imagine that they have helped Casey in any way, which many other people do believe.

If these were Nancy Grace devotees, they wouldn't be protesting the grandparents.

I read some comments claiming George was Caylee's dad and such, but I don't believe any of that. Casey is a sociopath and needs constant attention. One of the mainstays of that personality is being sexually promiscuous - she didn't need her brother or dad to get her pregnant.

I think the problem with the hair sample is that Casey and Caylee would have the same DNA pattern - so they can't conclusively say it was Caylee's instead of Casey's - except, that the length of hair has indicated to them it was Caylee's.
