Obamalamadingdong isn't using that computer. He's PUSHING it. Look at his feet. Either that POS is mid-step or he stands like a sissy. Or he's a sissy in mid-step.

I vote number 3.

I never made the connection, wow. You're good at thinking like them. Interesting the email ad came out about the same time.

Yes. I work in IT (should be doing so at this moment :>), and trust me, they can find out every, single thing they need to know. If the computer is open to more than one user..unless they use individual logons/userids a camera will be necessary to prove the culprit.

Oh, how funny it would be if it turns out to be someone actively working at the headquarters...and better yet...someone WITHIN the building at the time (not just from home or library or something).

If they are gonna sob over Palin using her work email or personal email for this or that, McCain/Palin should DEMAND an investigation across the board for both sides to see how they’ve been using their email. If I said I never used my work email for personal use or visa versa, I’d be a liar...about daily!

Can Obama’s emails be subpoenaed to see if he was involved in any way with the Palin hacking?

Obama himself would be a person of interest, it would seem.

I thought that there might be some specially designed program to help them get passwords. i.e. something that goes through millions of various keyboard character combinations in a short period of time.

There are password cracker programs. A few years ago Acxiom was hacked when someone ran a password program. Acxiom protected all our records with the master password packer.

I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to imply from my answer that I thought you were condoning it - heck, you wouldn’t be posting here if you did. Hacking is simply the unauthorized access of a computer and its programs, mail, etc.

I can’t wait to see the Gawker site owner do the perp walk. What is absolutely apalling is the same people who screamed that the Patriot Act/FISA was a mass invasion of their privacy, civil liberties, etc., are wondering “what’s the big deal” when it comes to hacking an individual’s personal email if they’re a Conservative/Republican/not an Obama fan.

This will prove interesting. It will test how good our government counter-hackers are.

These days...it’s still hacking. Hacking is bascially nothing more than accessing without permission another person or company’s private electronic information (data/website/emails, etc.)

McCain/Palin must get out front of this story and raise questions about the authenticity of anything "official" that hits the news wires.

I think after their constant attempt to destroy her, no one will pay attention to anything that comes out. Its like one of the pundits said the other day, the left and media (same thing) is Obamas worst enemy.

Casey Anthony tried that, so did Melinda Duckett (both child killers from Orlando). LE figured it out right away.

im not arguing that point. I completely agree with you. However I am saying it is an important difference between “ a guy in the city of chicago hacked palins email” and the statement “ the guy that hacked palins email is from chicago the home town and location of obama headquarters”

If like myself and most people on free republic were to skim that latter headline it would read like the guy that hacked her email was in obamas campaign headquarters.

And we dont want to have our people riot in the streets if he was not working for obama......
But if he were......

That is incorrect. Someone used the “lost my password” feature, and since her public info is available, they were able to provide the correct answers and “bingo”...

That is one dopey feature, isn't it? Someone picks out a long, complex, secure password only to back it up with a moronic question and answer like: What is Your Favorite Color? Blue! ...no, Yellow! Aaaaaah..........
