Yeah, but Watergate type investigations only apply to Republicans.
Watergate, Nixon and his people had every right to go into the Democrat headquarters for national security reasons.
They were just dumb and tried to cover it up instead of telling the American people what was going on..
Keep this in mind. The last time a candidate from either party ran a Presidential campaign without federal funding was during the 1972 election.
Obama is supported by very large Wall Street money interest, and he and they are in a funding frenzy of major proportions.
They must ensure that Barry has enough money to compete with and beat McCain, because after the election there will be many questions about Barry's campaign, about Barry's campaign financiers, and about where all that money has gone. There are many legal repercussions, that unless elected, Barry will be unable to control those repercussions.
Sadly enough, with the large amounts of money and the size of his campaign there are probably many illegal activities already taking place. Barry has his 'plumbers' and they're doing a very good job of concealing as much as possible, and of digging up as much dirt as possible on McCain/Palin. But those activities cost lots of money and if the trail ever leads back to Barry, he may win the White House but it will be a very short stay.
Maybe that's why the guy from Fannie Mae who headed the VP search for Barry recommended Biden. Because he knows that Barry won't be there very long.
Victor Lasky wrote a book entitled It Didn't Start With Watergate (Dutton, 1977). Looks like it didn't end with Watergate, either.
