Really? Was there free beer? It's so frigging boring there, I'd imagine anything out of the ordinary would be exciting. I lived there for two years, I swear it was just like the movie Ground Hog Day.
10 am, open shutters, look out window, old guy in galoshes walking dog...check
11:00-neighbor comes home, drops off car, gets grocery basket and hops on bike to got to market...check
12:30--Single Turkish guy walking home from bus stop on corner walks by...check
