That article now says the fire marshal estimates 60,000, not 70,000. Still big, but we should use 60,000.
However, we need to be careful. In Fairfax the democrat fire marshall said 23,000, but later the democrats got to him and he claimed he never made an estimate, and Obama’s campaign said that McCain was lying about the crowd estimates.
All the news media picked up on it, and not ONE asked if it was possible a democrat union member might lie for his candidate, rather than a candidate’s campaign making up a lie that was so easily found out.
