In case you didn't notice, there is a concerted war on serious biblical faith in our post-Christian society.
And that's why, any day now, you can expect Sarah Palin to be asked a question designed to knock her right out of the race for the vice presidency.
It won't be a question about the Bush Doctrine.
It won't be a question about her teenage daughter.
It won't be a question about Alaska state troopers.
It won't even be a question about abortion.
None of those questions threaten to deliver a killer blow to her bid to be the first woman vice president in the United States.
But, even as you read this column, some devious, partisan hack of a reporter or producer is preparing to ask her a series of questions that could if she's not properly prepared for it.
Here's the way it will go:
Reporter: You are a born-again Christian who is serious about your faith, am I right?
Palin: That's right. It's the guiding influence in my life.
Reporter: As such, you believe that only those who repent of their sins and accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior go to heaven. Is that right?
Palin: That's what the Bible teaches. Yes.
(Then comes the punch meant to be a devastating body blow.)
Reporter: So, therefore, you believe that Jews and Muslims, Hindus and Bahais, Buddhists and pagans all go to hell. Is that right?

I've always wondered why liberal Black clergy have never faced a "gotcha!" question about evolution.
Since the teachings of false religions on where I'm going when I die is of no interest to me whatsoever, I have no idea why any other person who rejects the truth of chr*stianity would give a flip what it teaches about the afterlife.
I bet that question was never asked of JFK, nor any other Kennedys. And since Catholics DO believe that if you’re not Catholic, you’re going to hell, one would think the question would have been brought up. If not for that damned leftie double-standard, that is.
Palin should ask the offending reporter when that same question was posed to Obama. If the answer is “he hasn’t been asked” (and it will be), she should then ask the reporter “why not?”. I suspect the answer will then be the sound of crickets chirping.

Only a fascist pig would dare ask that question.
For those of us who are pro-life, cherish guns, enjoy hunting and go to church, support of Governor Palin is easy and natural.
You, obviously, have given our Nation'sl future serious thought. May your tribe increase!
This is almost the exact answer Billy Graham gave to Larry King. I was saddened to the bone.
Maybe you should bone up a little on your study of Christian beliefs.
Only if you believe in "Replacement Theology" and I don't.
Islam is built on the notion that their faith should have absolute rule.
Seems different somehow, just can't seem to put my finger on it.
re: impose faith on others
Secularists, and all those that oppose her, view her EXAMPLE of faith as an imposition on them.
It doesn’t have anything to do with any action she takes toward them, it’s their own consciences telling them “see, there’s what’s right, and you know it, now you have to deal with it.”
God equips the called. Sarah is therefore ready.
1) The MSM wouldn’t ask him.
2) I think he’s already answered this with his “many ways to God” statement, thereby denying that he believes basic Christian tenets.
That’s one thing about the truth -
it stubbornly excludes those things that aren’t true.
Oh, I ROYALLY PO’d a lib this weekend with the comment “that’s above his pay grade”.
“people who will make nothing but insult and sarcasm
from her reply”
Petty little snipers. They’re everywhere. They pose questions as if they are sincerely seeking an answer, but they’re easy to spot.
The answer is actually simpler: I am a professing Christian. If they ask for more detail I will say: I am not running for pastor or Rabbi or Muhlah. I am running for VB. This is a secular position. If they continue to ask I will say: My nuances and specifics of my faith are between myself and my creator. Sufice it to say that I consider myself to be a Christian.
Or something like that...
I would add that I believe all people have the right to decide for themself their own relationship with their creator and I would fight against any movement to limit that freedom. It is part of the bedrock of our constitution.
That is my favorite, and number 21 is my second favorite.
You could have fooled me, the way things have gone in the courts for the last 60 years I thought that atheism is the only bedrock of our Constitution.
left out reporters
