These Rabbis must be from the liberal, reform side of the American Jewish community. Too many seem to have a love/hate view of their place in Judaism and with Israel. They have a wish to keep their Jewish heritage, but not the laws of God and man that are inconvenient.
Instead, they embrace secular humanism as their life goal and believe talk can overwhelm evil. When things don’t work out, they blame others who they believe obstruct them in their hopes. What they don’t accept is their hopes are not consistent with reality-evil exists and fallible man needs God’s rules.
I would guess many of the Rabbi's on this list are Reform or such but not all by any means. I recognize Conservative and Orthodox Rabbi's on this list as well.
I don't know how many of these Rabbi's have congregations but I was deeply glad that my own Rabbis are not on this list.
