The reporter named Karl Marx who needed 2 psychiatrists ... the feminazi with 2 last names that sued everyone for sexual harassment ... the self-certain know it all who knew nothing yet won a Pulitzer ... the neurotic polar bear-o-phobic ... the expert of Alaska who had spent one summer there 20 years ago ... the entire group of 50 journalists, none of which could even drive a car or had ever been outside of LA, Manhattan, and Sag Harbor ...
The skit was brilliant. It nailed the out of touch pomposity and narrow-minded groupthink of leftist “journalists”.
The attacks in the skit were not at all aimed at Palin or conservatives or Republicans. It was like a flame thrower of reality aimed at the tools of the left, and it was sharper in its critique of the left than almost anything I have seen them do towards the right.
In fact, most of the skits targeting the right come off as buffoonish attempts aimed at blatant and obvious stereotypes. This was aimed at the stereotypes of the left as well, but had a harsh truth to it. It is hard to believe it was a SNL skit.
And none of them could survive without Thai take out...
The skit was not done in a vacuum of political discussion and manufactured news. As a consequence it was an attack on our candidate, not the NYT.
