Not one American in a thousand will have been made aware of this story by the election unless Obama does something really foolish like take on this report directly.

All of this will be washed away in the financial crisis. Even without that crisis, the only way this story would have gotten traction is if the candidate himself pushed it and McCain has little stomach for that sort of work.

We Freepers read these stories and react to them and then on election Day we cannot understand why any part of the country would have truck with the likes of Obama. Ask your friends and neighbors next week who are not political junkies like we are, without leading them, what they know of this story. You know what the answer will be.

You make great points. However do you really want someone with ties like this, and a track record like this, submitting budgets to congress and endorsing a radical failed agenda.

Plus this is one of the few times The 0bama ever actually lead or ran anything that wasn’t for elected office

Perhaps because of where we live there are a lot of mindless obama voters in my world. Many are students (daughters' friends) but many are successful white collar types too.

Do you know who Reala Odinga is?

Do you know who Khalid al-mansour is?

Do you know what the Annenberg foundation is?

The answer is always "no". But I know that even if they knew these issues in depth they would still close their eyes and vote for "change".
