"Our prayers have been answered. Both sides have united and are working together to bring Lauren home," said Randy Richardson, father of Lauren Richardson, a 23 year-old Delaware woman who suffered brain damage after a heroin overdose in 2006. In a stunning change of events that has caused jubilation among local pro-lifers, Randy and Laurens mother have agreed to remove Lauren from the Arbors Rehabilitation Center in New Castle in order to "put her into a regiment of therapy," according to Randy, who adds, "things have worked out for Lauren and we give the glory to God."
Bess McAneny, president of the Delaware Pro-life Coalition, who facilitated pro-life, legal, and personal contacts with the Richardson family for the past two years, is thrilled with the news. "This is a blessing from God and Id like to thank everyone for their prayers and sacrifices and urge them to continue to pray for Laurens healing."
Lauren has been the focus of months of prayer vigils to save her life which was threatened by a court order to remove her feeding tube. Local churches and groups, including Priests for Life, kept vigil at the sidewalk outside the rehab facility. Inside, Randy, his sister and mother and other family members kept a round-the-clock vigil at her bedside. They also observed state-of-the-art "movement therapy" at other facilities and believe Lauren, who is not on any "life support" machines, would greatly benefit from such therapy.
The pro-life community rejoices with Randy, Lauren, and their entire family in this important break-through. As Bess McAneny many times observed, "The Richardson family is a testament to unconditional love and perseverance."

Would it not be the most wonderful thing for this young woman to make a FULL recovery and then face those who would’ve ended her life?!
Think our Lord’s not big enough? Then you don’t know my Savior! Hallelujah!
Glory to God!!
Fantastic news, but we learned yesterday about the death
of a man at Poudre Valley Hospital when his estranged wife denied him antibiotics for treatment of an infection, following a heart attack.
Basic legal protection of our lives is at grave risk, because of the
death enthusiasts’ tinkering.
Many die needlessly without assertive family members willing
to fight the deathbots.
