"Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama said in his convention speech that the promise of America is “the idea that we are responsible for ourselves, but that we also rise or fall as one nation; the fundamental belief that I am my brother's keeper; I am my sister's keeper.” Now, the easiest criticism to launch against Mr. Obama is the charge of hypocrisy given that his own brother lives in a Kenyan shack on a dollar a month and receives no assistance from his famous sibling. More perilous though is the collectivist message that he and his supporters send — i.e., provide the needy with a floor by oppressing the rest with a ceiling. However, their modus operandi is far more nefarious, "Vote for us and we'll take from others in the name of giving to you — thus ensuring your motivated reliance upon our electoral success."

If this guy gets elected, the bailout won’t matter. His socialist policies enacted with the support of a Democrat controlled Congress will wreck the economy in short order.
So the LEFT is gonna start a civil war? That seems kinda dumb since Conservatives probably outnumber marxists 9 to 1 in the military service column.
Conservatives probably outnumber marxists 6.5 to 3.5 in the gun ownership column.
In my military experience, rural conservatives outnumber marxists 95 to 5 in the competetive shooting upper ranks at long range high power.
Pilots and senior officers are closer to 60-40 conservative due to the college marxist indoctrination. Luckily, Americans have shown many times in the past an ability to ignore stupid officers and “get ‘er done”.
I’m curious just who these leftists think will fight on their side?

All we will see is hundreds of threads at DU filled with tears of despair, hysterical frustration, and promises of packing up and running to another country. And again, just like last time, Canada isn't looking too good for them with Conservative Steven Harper posed to win a strong majority government.

What makes them think conservatives will cooperate or even acknowledge the barking Marxist as POTUS?
I’ll be more than willing to treat Obambi with all the respect the left has given Bush for eight years.
Turn about is fair play. Four years fortunately goes fast if Obambi wins because of all the media hype and push and just plain theft of this election, and it will be theft, Chicago rules and all.
Thief-in-Chief is going to be the mantra.
