WHAT? In other words, if we, the taxpayers, should be fortunate enough to see a profit from this mess, it is to be usurped by these radical, un-American organizations? I beg to disagree! If we are fortunate enough to realize a profit, it should be returned to our own Treasury, PERIOD! No wonder the Republican conservatives are protesting. I wouldn’t want to have my name associated with that mess either!

Precisely and bears repeating.

Let me get this right.

In 1977 Carter birthed the CRA to encourage affordable housing lending to those who can’t pay.

In 1993 Clinton puts the CRA on steroids and mandates lending to those who can’t pay

In 2000-2003 many acknowledge that our banking system will fail if we continue to loan to those who can’t pay.

In 2008 the bail out bill to fix the problem caused by those wno can’t pay will derive assets that are to be sold by the government. And the proceeds from those sales will be given back to organizations who promote loans to those who can’t pay.

NO WAY!

This sounds like “Ground Hog Day”. Is Bill Murray putting together the bail out bill.

I AM ILL.

It's bad enough that taxpayer money is given to left-wing outfits like NPR and PBS, but that's small potatoes--they're mostly preaching to the choir anyway. ACORN, on the other hand, does real damage in the form of voter registration fraud, which can mean stolen elections.

A Democrat Congressman from Pennsylvania, Kanjorski, was on TV this morning. He said the calls to his office were split on the plan--half "No!" and the other half "Hell No!"

I don't know anything about him but at least he wasn't foaming-at-the-mouth nasty like Pelosi, Reid, or Obama.
