It's been one of the most persistent rumors on the internet since John McCain smartly snuffed Barack Obama's convention afterglow by doing what the Democrat considered and rejected: naming a woman as his vice presidential partner.

Within 10 hours of Obama's Greek-columned stadium speech in Denver, McCain shocked most of the political world by naming Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, as his vice presidential running matThe current 2008 Democratic ticket of Delaware Senator Joe Biden and Illinois Senator Barack Obamae.

Only in Hillary’s dreams. The Democrats would be totally insane to do this, when they already have a substantial lead, and risk mobilizing the Hillary haters.

Wouldn’t it have made sense to do it before the debate?

They don’t have a substantial lead.

In fact, if you look at the cooked numbers you see that McCain is probably winning in PA and my take one or two other great lake blue states because blue collar workers aren’t thrilled about Obama.

Bill’s out giving cover to McCain in recent interviews, and Obama’s going to put Hillary on the ticket...nonsense!

Maybe this has been covered in one of the hundreds of previous posts on this, but, is there one deadline or fifty for this happening legally and what is it or are they?

At this point, not sure why they’d need to change, considering their rise in the polls across the board. Seems like the voters somehow don’t care if the gaffer is on the Dem side, but let Sarah slip or flinch during an interview and the MSM (along with faux “conservatives” like Kathleen Parker and David Brooks) conclude she’s “not up to the job.”

personally I think Obama’s lead is a mirage, and temporary. could be a blessing in disguise to keep Obama from replacing Biden with Hillary. wander over to the hillaryclintonforum and see that there are many who will be voting for McCain.

I heard that Biden is planning on having explosive diareahha during the debate and that he will blame it on one of those drugs advertised on TV and have to drop out.

This internet rumor is only in a few Hillary well-wisher’s dreams (or maybe Obama’s after Biden’s remark about FDR reassuring the Americans on TV after the 1929 stock market crash).

Watching Bill’s antics generally gives way to clues to what Hillary is up to. I think she is hoping McCain wins so she can run in 2012 on the “I Told You So Express”

If our thinking on this topic is this screwed up ... the other side must be trying to breath life into Stalins corpse.

No, they don't.

They have a subliminal lead.

I think Obama does have a lead, but nowhere near the lead that the MSM is reporting. McCain better start using some of the silver bullets he has against Obama. I suspect as soon as the Wall Street fiasco is off the news, McCain’s campaign will swing into high gear and Obama will wonder what hit him.

Obama’s Nazi tactics in Missouri and other states is backfiring, and his attempted suit to stop the NRA will also backfire. These are the same empty suits that tried to steal the 2000 and 2004 election, and they will try anything in their desperation. But McCain better get with the program, he only has 5 weeks remaining.
