If it succeeds in driving banks to make bad loans in order to improve their minority-approval rates, this will eventually lead to more foreclosures in troubled inner-city communities. So, if we're going to have to eat this 3/4 trillion dollar crap sandwich, can we at least call it reparations and kill two birds with one stone?
