Yeah ... Saginaw wasn't even inhabited by American Indians, as it was a swamp.

Whitey drained it and made it livable. A crime for which they should be rightfully punnished.

Oh ... wait ... they are.

That’s not just Saginaw, all of MI is being punished.

Tons of this state are protected federal land that no one can develop. Someone should do that to the rest of the state. Naturally, it’s beautiful here. If you stay out of the cities.

Chicago was a swamp. New Orleans is part of a river delta. Most coastal cities and those near water had large areas pumped and drained centuries ago. Saginaw is no different in that sense. There is a street in Saginaw where if you drive a few blocks, you go from boarded up small houses to an subdivision of pillared McMansions near the city limit. Each house as you drive down the street gets better.

Face it, most cities would be where Saginaw is if not for a lot of money spent on PR, and municipal thugs covering up the real crime rates.
