Greensboro, N.C. — Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin will attend a rally in Greenville next week, a campaign official said late Wednesday.
The Oct. 7 event at East Carolina University will be the first appearance in North Carolina by either Palin or Republican presidential candidate John McCain since the state's May primary.

Doors to the Minges Coliseum are scheduled to open at 5 p.m. for the rally, but campaign officials didn't say when the event would start.

I heard about this on WPTF news this morning. The reporter used a sneer when he mentioned it was a “private fund raiser”.
Pretty sure they aren’t doing a private fund raiser at Minges Coliseum which is the basketball arena at ECU.
About NC, of McCAin’s numbers are dipping everywhere. But, Obama is on the air everywhere in NC. I can’t turn on the tv without seeing his mug. He is even running ads on country radio station and talk radio stations including during Sean Hannity.
