I guess Obama forgot to tell the autoworkers that he owns a prius too! But thanks for your vote.
Maine? Very interesting. Also helps with neighboring NH.
Murrymom rears the head lol but that being said fighting for 1 electoral vote instead of 17 does sound silly
I LIVE IN MICHIGAN, GRAND RAPIDS TO BE EXACT. I THOUGHT THAT PERHAPS WE HAD A CHANCE HERE, IF WE REMOVED THE SPHINCTER(SP?) THAT IS DETROIT, WE’D REALLY HAVE A CHANCE. BUT THAT WAS WISHFULL THINKING. THE PROBLEM WITH THE PEOPLE I KNOW WHO SUPPORT OBAMA IS THAT THEY ONLY LOOK TO THE PRESIDENT TO “HELP”, THEY BLAME Bush, therefore, THEY BLAME MCCAIN. NOT MANY LOOK TO THE DEMOCRAP SENATORS WE HAVE,, DEMOCRAP STATE SENATE AND REPRESENTATIVES OR JENNIFER “THATS REALLY A MOLE ON MY FACE AND NOT A MILK DUD” GRANHOLM. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH MICHIGAN, BUT AM VERY OPTIMISTIC ABOUT OUR OVERALL CHANCES. KEEP THE FAITH, WE WILL WIN !
Doesn’t Michigan have a large Muslim population?
Does Maine remind you of a certain state where a certain someone who most Freepers adore resides?
Maybe Todd and Sarah can get some stuff for the kids at Bean’s...
I live in Michigan also and if I hear Jenny Granholm blame our economy on 8 yrs of George Bush once more I’ll puke!
Forget the 8 yrs we’ve had of HER...Everything’s Bush’s fault around here. Nothing’s ever hers...
Gov. Bob Taft hurt this state so badly with his felonious behavior. He caused Ken Blackwell’s campaign to lose. Ken is such a good human being, Christian, educated man, and strong conservative. The democratic party, national level, targeted him because they didn’t want such a strong conservative black to win a governorship. They knew he’d be a serious threat. And then the Taft wing of the party took after Blackwell in the primary and forced him to spend all his money just to win there.
And Ken had been the Sec of State overseeing elections. Now we’ve got a radical liberal democrat doing that, and it shows.
It’s an amazing turn around in this state. Our taxes are still just about the highest business taxes in the nation, and businesses don’t come to Ohio. They try to leave it, and our new DemonRat governor has done absolutely nothing to help. We’ve steadily lost jobs here since Taft raised taxes 2 weeks after his no tax increase campaign of 2002.
Yea. Whatever. Obama is not winning NC, so go find another thread to promote bad polls.
Ever heard of Dearbornistan?
Let’s face it...we had a window of opportunity to run against the tide of “hate the Republicans” this year, and the financial panic finished those hope. Blame everyone you want, but it really was an outside chance at best.
Now, it’s pretty much cooked. I lived through the Nixon and Reagan years, but I have never seen the kind of propaganda in the press like I have this year.
Keep your cash handy...this idiot is going to screw up the economy of this nation even worse than Carter did.
At least the Democrats will get the fair blame this year as they will control all three houses.
I’ve thought Maine was a sleeper in this election, to me McCain should be able to get some traction in ME.
Do ME and NH equate to NM and CO?
How long ago did the One pull out of Georgia?
Not a word from the panting and fainting crowd.
I agree. I have a very difficult time parting with money, that is in short supply, when every time he opens his mouth he is on the wrong side of the issue. He is a maverick and I don’t like what that means.
Like Rush says, bipartisanship is easy all you have to do is be willing to sacrifice your core beliefs, if you had any to start with. If the good Senator doesn’t realize from the 2002 election that you have to fight, then I don’t get it, and vote for Sarah, not McCain.
Just once I would like to hear him do something I approve of. Comments and votes recently are not very energizing.

If McCain can get all the toss-ups, he's in.
If he can flip WI and PA, he gets gravy.
I don't think some of these toss-ups are really toss-ups, like VA and NC.
Picking up MN would be nice. I have relatives in MN and they all despise Obama.
What kinda of intelligent self-respecting conservative could bring himself/herself to vote mccain after the big 700bill socialistic sellout vote he stuck you with last night?
If I were Palin I’d drop off the ticket and wait for her time in 4 years after everyone is sick of Osama.
Carl Rove was just pointing out that Obama can't shake the "Obama's inexperienced" label. Rove said that even after the 2nd debate fully 48% of America was still saying "He's too inexperienced."
McCain can fix this if he plans his campaign carefully in the last few weeks.
Per Obama, having to use tactics to adjust to fluid situations is failed policy!
“Last one out bring the flag!”
I remember when people in Miami were saying that 20 years ago.
sad...
