If Palin's impressive tonight, the effect will be like the convention speech, but even more so—since the stakes are even higher and the expectations lower. If she's just aggressive, after the defensive crouch during much of the network TV interviews, she'll do herself a lot of good.
Sounds good to me! Think of it this way - the potential upside is very great, the potential downside very small.
