I thought it was hilarious. From out of nowhere he claims to know what it's like to be a "single mom" then bursts into tears. He had obviously planned to do it sometime during the debate and as time was slipping away with no opening...he just thru it in.

Even if it was a genuine moment (which I honestly suspect that it was), that sort of thing doesn’t hold any sway for me in the context of a political debate. Lots of people have dealt with tragedy in their lives. I lost both of my parents in the span of a few months. I still get choked up about it sometimes. Does that make me any more eligible to run for high office? No.

In the debates, I’d rather hear more meat-and-potatoes discussions about the issues that really matter.

I posted Moulitsas response on the Live Thread to the debate last night (#2000) just TWO MINUTES after he posted it.

Less than 5 minutes later, CNN’s talking heads were QUOTING IT as to why Palin’s Debate performance meant NOTHING, without crediting it as a quote!!
Daily KOS moonbats are now WRITING COPY for our obviously biased media, and they get thier daily marching orders from there now!!!

I was shocked, but I shouldn’t have been. it’s just the way iut is now.

punk in my office said that he only watches MSBC and said they are only one who had unbiased coverage last night after debate. I ALMOST JUMPED UP AND KNOCKED HIM down, but then I remember what Churchill said....

NBC, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, CNN all in tank for Obama. Even SNL knows it and did a skit on it back in the primary. But I hope America is seeing that media has an agenda and if you do not go with their agenda they will do everything in their power to destroy you. And they have the control to do that through their biased coverage.
