I know they wont post them, but maybe their heads will explode reading all of our contributions. That's what I'm hoping. Might be fun to create some less obvious names too. In the meantime, I signed again: "Pol Pot" from the "Ninth Circle of Hell."

Ted Bundy Florida State University.
I would suggest that they are reviewing submissions so it helps to be subtle.

The current characterizations of Professor Ayers---unrepentant terrorist, lunatic leftist---are unrecognizable to those who know or work with him. Its true that Professor Ayers participated passionately in the civil rights and antiwar movements of the 1960s, as did hundreds of thousands of Americans. His participation in political activity 40 years ago is history; what is most relevant now is his continued engagement in progressive causes, and his exemplary contribution---including publishing 16 books--- to the field of education. The current attacks appear as part of a pattern of exposés and assaults designed to intimidate free thinking and stifle critical dialogue. Like crusades against high school and elementary teachers, and faculty at UCLA, Columbia, DePaul, and the University of Colorado, the attacks on and the character assassination of Ayers threaten the university as a space of open inquiry and debate, and threaten schools as places of compassion, imagination, curiosity, and free thought. They serve as warnings that anyone who voices perspectives and advances questions that challenge orthodoxy and political power may become a target, and this, then, casts a chill over free speech and inquiry and the spirit of democracy. ... "participated passionately" ...
Darn, sure wish I had known about that one when I was a kid.

It's interesting when you look up some of these names on the internet. Ozlem Sensoy (who signed twice), for instance, coauthored a book coming out next year titled "Teaching for Social Change: Challenging Islamophobia." I don't know if it's the main title or subtitle that's more frightening.
I've also noticed that many of these people are in the Education Departments at their colleges. These twisted people are teaching both students and future teachers.

“McCarthyism”. The Left loves that word. I think they look high and low, under and over, here and there for anything to attach THEIR word to.
Perhaps they love that word so much because Joe was right, and they successfully BS’d their way out of the barrel he had them in. They won. We lost.
IMO we need to get in there and do it again, but that’s just my opinion.

I still think they’re just talking about a body count and numbers. We’re talking about lying liars here.

After the Fox specials tonight I doubt Ayers or Obama will be happy with names # 5 Rashid Khalidi or #202 Mona Khalidi. Seems there are a lots of terrorist sympathizers and anti-Americans teaching in universities. Taxpayer dollars help support those universities. Maybe taxpayers should call in protest to the universities about those low lifes.

To my fellow citizens in Academia:
Circulate and sign whatever petition you like, but if you come anywhere near me, and you step on the flag like your buddy did, this aging Marine is going to stick his fist up your butt, and pull that useless lump of sh*t you call a brain, out your ass...
Just sayin'....

To be subtle, one should honor Ayers’ wife by submitting signatures from members of the Manson family (Bernadine was a big fan of Charlie). I’d suggest using the nicknames they used for a couple of them to made it more subtle (and get it past their review committee):
Katie Krenwinkel (actually Patricia)
Sadie Mae Glutz (Susan Atkins’ alias)
Leslie Van Houten
Charles Watson

I wonder if someone, just for grins, has put Barack Obama on the petition.

If the McCain campaign chooses to target Obama for his past associations with dubious characters it should not be for merely appearing to undermine the Obama campaign but to make it an issue of public safety- “Would you want the next POTUS to have friends like these living in your neighborhood where your children play and walk to school?”

No offense to any education professors that might be on this site, but those professors who are in the harder disciplines (math, sciences, medicine, etc) usually don’t have the time or desire to partake in such activism.
