The internal polls have to be right for a candidate and they don’t rely on any of these pollsters like Rasmussen.

Frankly they don’t do national polling as there is no need as each state votes separately which is why national polls are garbage.

How about exit polls showing Kerry was winning. Short memories around here by some folks.

Yeah. That nasty, dirty looking man - Moore - was sending out e-mails celebrating Kerry's victory because the voting lines were packed. He thought they were all voting for his guy. The 4 million extra voters he saw were voting against his guy. I see the same thing happening with Oboma.

Think about this, folks. A very liberal, very green, Acorn type candidate in charge of fixing a massive taxpayer supported economy and fighting a war against his own families religion. Do you really think the majority of Americans will vote for a guy named "Hussain" once they get in that voting booth?

I think people are afraid of being tagged a racist if they don't SAY they're for Oboma . Their vote will speak freely for them in the end.

“You don’t recall the exit polls showing there was no need for West Coast folks to even vote because Kerry had it in the bag?”

You’re right. I did forget that. Maybe it’s just the constant stream of this stuff that’s wearing on me.

I won’t falter, I will vote, and I will vote McCain, I’m just very pessimistic at the moment.

McCain won’t raise the capital gains tax.

That's another thing that shows Obomas ignorance. He said he would eliminate capital gains taxes for small businesses. DUH!

Small businesses don't pay capital gains taxes. They barely make their own payroll. They only wish they could make a capital gain!

I really think Obama is +6 in the polls or so, not the +3 on the lower end of your scale.

Talk about peaking at the perfect time is good, but for now it does appear that Obama has solidified support of about 50% of the electorate. That can change, but several polls tell this same basic story for the last week.

Looking at this, I’d say that the economy is giving Obama and edge right now. there also appears to be no significant Palin post-debate bounce. Maybe its just that VP debates don’t make a big difference. Maybe Palin raised her personal stock but didn’t raise the ticket’s stock. Either way, we should se some positive movement for McCain tomorrow at the latest if there is to be any Palin bounce.

Honestly, we shouldn’t say none of this matters. If the election were held today, Obama would win significantly. It’s not today, and that’s good, but it doesn’t mean that every poll that shows us is wrong.

I agree with the sentiment and the anger - there are cultural, political, and moral divides in this country that equal or exceed those of the mid 1800’s North-South tensions.

I just don’t see it happening, at least in the next decade, because of the sheer lack of will in breaking through liberal media narrative and politically correct orthodoxy. We can’t even convince more than 30-35% of this country that Obama actually, admittedly had strong relationships with Marxists his entire life. Even if it ‘came out’ that forces on the Left (Soros, fund managers, media, Fannie/Freddie) manipulated markets, those yelling from the mountaintops about it would be countered by the usual suspects.

Think of all the ‘common wisdom’ and cherished liberal myths most or all of us here know to be untrue yet remain entrenched and unassailable. Think of all the truths we would swear to on the Bible which are dismissed in the public arena due to ideology, ignorance and apathy.

I don’t mean to be defeatist. I just look at someone like Obama and am totally dismayed and disillusioned. Whether he wins or not isn’t the point for me. That a racist, Marxist, inexperienced, admitted drug user could be a serious candidate for President reveals just how powerful PC white-guilt liberal bravo sierra truly is.

Sure....but I’d rather an outwardly socialist president than a socialist president who pretends that he believes in free enterprise. In the first case, the end result will be to discredit socialism, in the second the end result will be to discredit free enterprise.

I hope Fox will show those two shows on their local Fox channels.........not eveyone tunes in to Fox News Network......

Humans "Network." They discuss with other people the things they have on their minds. A person talks to another. The other talks to two more people. The two talk to 5, and so on. The Fox specials were devastating. People WILL talk about what they learned, because the media is not reporting it, and it was scary. They found out about the democrats economic policies, and they found out the truth about Oboma. People will not remain quiet about it.

Yes, Fox needs to run these specials again about 2 weeks from now so those who've heard about them through the network can finally see what everyone else is talking about.

The media has been on Obamas’ side from the start. They will lie because they want us to stay home... I don’t believe them... If Obama does win by media, we need to shut them down by not buying their junk..... Tune them out.. They aren’t even worth lining a bird cage..
