Yep. I’ve been around long enough to live through the Humphrey Administration, Carter’s second term, and the great string of Democrat Presidents, Dukakis,Gore and Kerry !
Settle down people, the pollsters are both incompetent and liars...nuff said !
Realclear uses a average including all the wacko polls such as cnn/time, Quinnipiac, cbs, etc. As these polls are added to those that are reported as Dems go up which then causes the “legit” polls to use a different multiplyer for the estimated end result. This skewers the poll upward for the dems. Election day usually is the best indicator.

This is subjective, but I don’t remember it ever seeming like a Kerry win was unavoidable. Without a big surprise, I can’t even imagine Obama losing.
