I'm active on another forum that is based on a completely non-political leisure activity, but they have a Poltics subforum that is absolutely overrun with Obama zealots who will simply not entertain any question or discussion of his background.
If you try to introduce any discussion whatsoever about Obama's background, you get obscenely shouted-down as an ignorant McCarthy-style reactionary. It's impossible to have a civilized discussion with these people about Obama.
I'm afraid too much of the American public has bought into this false image and it's too late to do anything about it. Any counter we offer is passed off as a mark of lunatic desperation.
I'm afraid we're going to have to suffer through 4 years of Obama and hope that we actually still have a chance of a fair election (which is doubtful considering his ACORN-style politics).
