Open letter asks King of Spain not to sign decree allowing aborted babies to be ground up
CNA ^ | October 7, 2008

Madrid, Oct 7, 2008 / 06:35 am (CNA).- Father Joan Manuel Serra, a priest of the Diocese of Sant Feliu de Llobregat, has asked King Juan Carlos of Spain not to sign a royal decree that would modify mortuary policies and would make it legal to use “baby crushing machines” that would be used on the remains of babies aborted up to the seventh month of pregnancy in abortion clinics.

In an open letter, Father Serra recalled that current policy “obliges abortion ‘clinics’ to consider the remains of an abortion as cadavers, when they are human remains ‘of a sufficient entity,’ that is, at eleven or twelve weeks of pregnancy, and transfer them to a cemetery for their posterior dignified incineration or burial.”

However, after the scandal of the Ginemedex Clinic, where it was discovered that blenders were being used to cover up illegal late-term abortions, the government, “with the supposed support of the main opposition party,” has proposed changing the norms for mortuaries “so that the ‘remains’ of an abortion not be considered ‘human remains of sufficient entity’ until after the 28th week of gestation,” that is, nearly the seventh month of pregnancy.

“Your majesty, we are reaching levels of inhumanity that are completely inadmissible and that are putting the very foundation of our society at risk,” Father Serra said.  “If we do not protect the right to life of all,” even those who are weakest, we are laying “the foundations of a very violent society that will end up destroying itself.”

Where are we headed?

My fear is not where are we headed, but where we have actually arrived. I have a feeling that there may be no turning back.

I cannot and will not accept that these monsters know not what they do and I do not believe that one can be forgiven for what they KNOW to be a moral sin without repentance.

Today, on the feast day of “Our Lady of the Rosary” we lay this evil at your feet. Take it to your Son and plead with us for an end to this and all abortion.

Lord, we beg of you.

Evil as this is, it isn't even the worst thing that is done to these babies.

Here in America, "bio tissue" companies are allowed to "harvest" organs from freshly aborted babies. Brains, spinal cords, livers, reproductive organs, etc.

The "fresher" (and more intact) the child is, the more valuable the "tissue" is to the "harvesters."

ABC News's "20/20" did a story on this seven or eight years ago.

I believe you are right. Too many people have placed their faith in government to resolve their problems. Name one thing government is good at accomplishing. The WWII generation was selfless, whereas this generation is just the opposite. It's all about "me" my wants, my desires, and what makes "me" happy. They care little for their neighbors or those who live on other continents.

To run a baby through a meat grinder is the penultimate level of hell. Those who do so have no feilty towards God but consider themselves in charge. The martyrs cry out for vengeance.

Thank you for pinging your list.

I wonder how the King responded. I hope and pray that all Catholics say one rosary for the unborn everyday.

I wrote to CNA and asked if the King responded. But yes, we should all write and pray about this.

I took my daughter to St. John Bosco Days at Holy Hill in Wisconsin a few weeks ago. (Holy Hill is a Catholic monastary located 20 minutes north of Milwaukee.)

Loved seeing 1300 high school kids alive with their faith. Aside from the great speakers like Father Stan Fortuna, and Gianna Jessen (Abortion survivor) We also were able to take part in a Benediction and celebrate Mass at the end of the day.

Seeing these things gives me heart, and reminds me that there are wonderful kids coming along to pass along the torch of faith.

While there I picked up a Holy Card of Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati. (1901-1925 Turin, Italy) He's up for Canonization. He died of polio at the age of 24.

During the time he was sick he wrote a note to his sister. Part of it is on the back of his Holy Card:

"You ask me whether I am in good spirits. How could I not be so? As long as faith gives me strength I will always be joyful; Every Catholic cannot but be joyful. Sadness ought to be banished from Catholic souls. Sorrow is not sadness, which is a worse illness than any other. This illness is nearly always caused by atheism. But the purpose for which we have been created shows us the path; even if strewn with thorns, it is not a sad path. It is joyful even in the face of sorrow.

For those of other faiths please do not take offense. It is meant as inspiration.

God Bless! +

Oh, ZOT! I hadn’t seen this. My Hispanic Ministry leader at church lived in Spain for 40 years. Her husband was a Spaniard, a famous (so they said at his recent funeral) surgeon. They moved here to suburban Charlotte, NC, about five years ago because of the evil in the government of Spain. Horrible, horrible things going on there.

Your excursion sounds wonderful. I love Father Fortuna!

The picture above is Fr. Frank Pavone in one of three former abortion-murder rooms at the NATIONAL AMERICAN HOLOCAUST MEMORIAL in Baton Rouge, LA. It was open as an abortion mill from 1986 – 1994. 30,000 children were murdered there. This was not the only abortion mill in the city. The “doctor” had this building built special to maximize his time and PROFITS.

Notice the kitchen sink with the garbage disposal. There were three ways for the “doctor” to dispose of the babies, an expensive biomedical incinerator, expensive biomedical waste pick-up (charge by pound) or a rather inexpensive garbage disposal. Every day babies were ground up in that disposal and flushed into the city’s sewer system. Thing is this doctor of death did late term abortions also, so an assisting demon had to literally cut up the bigger kids to feed down the disposal.

I'm not aware of actual statistics, but I would guess a large percentage of aborted babies that are not sold for research are ground up in a garbage disposal and flushed into the sewer. My God America, what have you become.

I have personally given tours of the Memorial several times. It is like walking through the worst possible nightmare. The suction machine in one room is still plugged in and it works when you turn it on for the visitors to see and hear. This place is much like an abandoned Nazi death camp. It’s the only Memorial like it in the country. It’s a testament to America’s (and humanity's) darkest potential.

Some time after the mill was closed down, the doctor of death aborted himself with a bullet through the head.

I ask everyone reading this to please visit the site and take the virtual tour. And tell everyone you know about the site.
