While the two presidential candidates, Senators John McCain and Barack Obama, prepare for their second debate on Oct. 7 at Belmont University in Nashville, Tom Brokaw gets to sift through questions submitted by you. In addition to queries from a group randomly selected by the Gallup organization, Brokaw will be fielding questions submitted online at mydebates.org, the site created by the Commission on Presidential Debates and Myspace. The focus of the town hall-style debate will be domestic and foreign policy, Brokaw's specialties.

I think he was talking about the world’s biggest garbage dump, DARPA-NET, which begot ARPA-NET, which begot Algore’s wet dream, the Internet. Prime example of private vs. public sector “innovation”.
McCain is doing good, for the most part. He has stumbled a bit, but he is connecting with the folks in the audience on the stage, and making sense for the most part. I think that is good - because he is also connecting with folks watching.
Obama is a cracker. A low-sodium cracker.
Obama has an air of arrogance about him. He does indeed think of himself as "The One."

One more lie. The computer was NOT invented by a group of government scientists. It was invented in the basement of the physics building at Iowa State College (at the time) in 1939 by Atanasoff and Berry.
