While the two presidential candidates, Senators John McCain and Barack Obama, prepare for their second debate on Oct. 7 at Belmont University in Nashville, Tom Brokaw gets to sift through questions submitted by you. In addition to queries from a group randomly selected by the Gallup organization, Brokaw will be fielding questions submitted online at mydebates.org, the site created by the Commission on Presidential Debates and Myspace. The focus of the town hall-style debate will be domestic and foreign policy, Brokaw's specialties.
I would like to have a dollar for every time that Obama leads off his answer with “This is the biggest issue we face today.” I would love to get a transcript to count them.

This is a disappointment to me after how Sarah Palin performed. No energy. McCain really needed to pump it up tonight and get a little more animated. He’s making some good points but I’m not feeling comfortable that he’s doing what he needs to do...

Unraveling of employer based healthcare? Good. That is one of the things that needs to be diluted because it actually has made it more expensive by creating gov’t mandates on employers.

Obama is tossing around statistics and facts ala Biden. It doesn’t matter if they are correct or not. McCain is just not responding well. We are an hour into this farce. The MSM has shaped and orchestrated this event so you really can’t have an exchange between the audience and the candidates. The audience is just a prop. Ridiculous.
If that is the case I want my health care as a commodity.

I think Brokaw had plastic surgery..?? He looks different. I think Obama is a well rehearsed liar. McCain is telling the truth. I cannot read the audience but as usual the liberals make excellent LIARS.
