He’s smirking cuz he knew it was coming and probably has a nice smartass reply. McCain was on the right path but better get SHARPER.
And McCain's voice is quavering badly. I'm listening without watching. I hear a confident 0bama and a shaky old man. However, McCain often picks up steam as he goes along. And Brokaw also sounds very shaky.
