I think he’s doing awful...I wish I knew a real independent to see how they thought McCain is doing. I think he’s getting his head handed to him...0’s lying his ass of but do the independents/undecideds know that?

They don't. All they know is that GWB is the President during the current economic crisis, and that McCain belongs to GWB's party. That's pretty much the extent of their knowledge, and the main reason McCain has an uphill battle.
They don't know about the origins of the crisis in the Community Reinvestment Act, or about the Dems' longstanding refusal to hold GSE's Fannie/Freddie to account (because they're a Dem cash cow), or about Obama's fellow "community organizers" at ACORN threatening lenders/banks with lawsuits if they didn't make risky loans.
Not only don't they know, but most of them don't want to know.
