Did this moron just tell us the Government invented the first computer?

I thought the first computer was the abacus. Invented about 5000 years ago.

Somewhat. The abacus was more of a calculator than a computer. A computer, as I understand it, had the ability to understand a “branch” ... by this, I mean that you can instruct a machine that “if X occurs, then do Y, else do Z”.

An abacus cannot do that.

However, glorious scientists in USSA (or whatever new history will say) invented computer to communicate. All heil government. All heil ‘O’.
