Why on earth does McCain need to hit a home run? You are allowing the dems and the media to set the standards. How about this: any inexperienced upstart who want to be commander in chief must hit a grand slam home run before he can even be taken seriously.
I have expressed the same sentiments....but I've not yet given up.
