Obama: McCain Scoring "Cheap Political Points" (challenges McCain to "say it to my face")
ABCNews ^ | Oct.. 8, 2008 | By KATIE ESCHERICH and LAUREN SHER

Sen. Barack Obama says the personal attacks levied against him by the campaign of his presidential rival, Sen. John McCain, particularly references to his association with 1960s anti-war radical Bill Ayers, are an attempt to "score cheap political points."

"I am surprised that, you know, we've been seeing some pretty over-the-top attacks coming out of the McCain campaign over the last several days, that he wasn't willing to say it to my face. But I guess we've got one last debate. So presumably, if he ends up feeling that he needs to, he will raise it during the debate."

Obama has taken the bait. His ego is getting battered. Now the MSM must cover the allegations.

Obama is a greenhorn.McCain is very shrewd.

McCain can't control what his maverick VP running mate says!

LOL.

Obama/Odinga/Kenya/Genocide is next at the plate?

"That One" is having a slight bout of cognitive dissonance!

The question is: Which one of Obama's many faces must be confronted? He reminds me of the movie "4 Faces of Eve" about a schizoid woman who had mutiple personality disorder.

I guess we will let Obama pick?

If Obama has a problem with what McCain has said about him he should have brought it up in the debate. Oh that’s right he doesn’t want to talk about his terrorist friend Bill Ayers.

why not, socialism charge or just a direct question. “Mr. Obama, are you a socialist?”

that would be nice.

Hubby and I were watching the ‘debate’ the other night and we decided McCain should just pull a Ron White on him. When he didn’t we turned it off.

I got kicked off the high school debate team for saying “Yeah?! Well, f*^k you!!” I thought I had won. The other kid was speechless. I thought that was what we were tryin’ to do.

Yeah, 0bama was palling around with him - up to a year and a half ago accounding to the interview with O'reilly

O'REILLY: You know, he did something despicable last week. He said he didn't do enough bombings. That's last week.
OBAMA: I haven't seen the guy in a year-and-a-half. But…
O'REILLY: But you know who he was. He's on the Woods Foundation board. You know he…
OBAMA: Let me finish my point, all right? Here's a guy who does something despicable when I'm 8 years old.
O'REILLY: OK.
OBAMA: All right? I come to Chicago. He's working with Mayor Richard Daley, not known to be a radical. So, he and I know each other as a consequence of work he's doing on education. That is not an endorsement of his views. That's not…
O'REILLY: Yes, but you guys partnered up on a youth crime bill. Do you remember that?
OBAMA: And it was a good bill.

O'REILLY: No, it wasn't. That bill said that if a youth commits a second violent felony, he does time in an adult prison. That's two shots. You said no. You know the Southside of Chicago. You know how many people are hurt.
OBAMA: Listen, you're absolutely right. My community gets hit by crime more than…
O'REILLY: And I'm right on that bill. You were wrong on that bill.
OBAMA: Well, I disagree with you on that bill. We're getting too far afield here.
O'REILLY: That's important though. You and Ayers were allied on that bill.
OBAMA: No, no. Look, he didn't write that bill.
O'REILLY: No, he was supporting it, and so were you.
OBAMA: Well…
O'REILLY: But you guys were together on it.

If you knew someone to be a radical (certainly he knew in 2006 when his campaign began) then why would anyone running for the POTUS contact a POS like Ayers? Also, he has said that they did not have close ties, as you can see that is nothing but a lie too since he states he was allied on the bill - before he wasn't.

Not really. He could lose, then be selected as U.N. General Secretary to “pull the world together in this catastrophic economic disaster in a time of such global unrest.”

Think of the 1000’s around the earth that came out in droves to see him utter a single syllable. It was as if there was some sort of mind controlling agent being used. Chants and all!

Under-the-bottom attacks. Thats what Obama does.

Its clear that Obama's method is not working on McCain

I love it when politicians get accused of trying to score political points or get called out for being “political.”
Gee Barry, ya’ can’t believe McCain would try to score some points at your expense? Ha..please.
Not to mention the “cheap shot” is the truth.

The sissy backed out of many debated with McCain and now he cries because others call him out.

I think that Obama has talked ‘big’ throughout the campaign. When John McCain first mentioned doing town hall meetings together, Obama said something like, “I will meet him anytime, anywhere”...

Oh...but wait....his campaign never could fit one of those meetings into Obama’s schedule.

He is a bully and hides behind MEshell and the race card.

Well we’ll see. I am not encouraged at McCain’s performance thus far. Saddle back was his best moment to date.

me too! unfortunately dont think mccain would do that at the debates, but wont hurt my feelings if mccain comes on tv show his documents and call out obama to provide proof otherwise, not just words and kid talk! meh, the little worm would crawl under the earth and hide! better watch that ghetto talk. obama will cry and you will be verbally assaulted lol.

How OLD is Obama, anyway?? 10?

That is a VERY GOOD question! If only he would present a birth certificate, we may have an answer to your query.

This is a gold plated invitation to bring up everything in Obama's past in the last debate. How utterly freaking stupid on Obama's part.

I notice that Obama didn't go face to face with McCain on the Keating five.

The problem there for Obama is that McCain was cleared of that and he stopped talking to Keating after it all came to light. Obama continued to "pal around" with Ayers even though everyone knows when and what he did. I think Rush said in the last few days he has friends that have been in restaurants where OJ showed up at. They got up and left when he tried to eat there. Ayers should have been getting the same treatment from Obama. Obama also should have left Wright's church years ago. And there is other associations he has that he should have never had or terminated years ago too. Obama just has extremely bad judgment.
