It will take another 9/11 before the American people start to understand what they’re facing.

I think it will have to be a 10/12 if we expect people to wake up. It only took a couple of years after 9/11 before they were happily snoozing away again. 9/11 was a minor disturbance to about half of all Americans.

I think the Oklahoma City bombing in the 90's was the first 9/11, but they managed to sacrifice a couple of native sons for the ability to kick the can down the road a decade or two. The desire of many liberal people to believe that 9/11 was an inside job by the Bush Adminstration supports this conclusion.

Note: Hopefully nothing will happen this upcoming Sunday, but anything that does will be purely coincidental.

I just got back from NY on Tuesday - people’s attitude unbelievable “Oh dont judge all Americans by Bush; most of us hate him” and “Hell its gonna take decades to restore our reputation in the world” but best of all was the priceless “Ya know something ? The only option left is to have a dialogue with Al Quiada its the only way ya know what ? We have to find out why they hate us”.
Ok these comments were made by people down West Broadway and Greenwich Village, but even so I was somewhat nonplussed to hear views like this, particularly after 9/11.
