GOP vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin described her rival Barack Obamas radical position on abortion as absolutely atrocious on Laura Ingrahams radio program Thursday.
Palin specifically attacked Obama for his votes against the Born Alive Infant Protection Act as an Illinois State Senator. His position on this and on life has been his vote against legislation--three times voting against legislation that would provide medical care to a baby born having been a survivor of an abortion, she said. It's very appalling and I think if more Americans could understand how absolutely extreme that position is there would be a heckuva lot more outrage than we've already seen.
Palin is unabashedly pro-life. She recently had a child with Downs Syndrome, a condition many mothers are encouraged to consider abortion when is detected during pregnancy.
She said after getting elected, its important not just talking the talk but walking the walk. Being elected with a family that is quite diverse, including a special needs child, I would just hope that my life can reflect what it is that we will do to usher in that culture of life in our government.
Palin then said she wanted to go back to talking about Obamas BAIPA votes.
She went on: It's appalling enough I think even for those who are pro-abortion to understand that Barack Obama opposes banning partial-birth abortion because that's quite extreme. But for him to have had an opportunity to vote to allow a child born as a result of a botched abortion to receive the medical care that he or she deserves, born with that inalienable right to life. And yet he has sided on the wrong side three times, voting against legislation that would provide that medical care to the baby, is the extreme position on abortion, Americans need to know that.
Good for her. I want to see more of this. Others can go after Obama’s associations just fine: Sarah should go after Obama directly, his positions and policies, just like this.
My girl crush is growing!
I love this woman.
What’s happening w Laura Ingram? In Philly she’s been replaced in the morning by Mike Gallagher.
Same in Seattle. They moved her to another station that delay broadcasts her at 3:00 PM.
Gallagher is OK. Hell, I’d take the Black Avenger over either Laura or Gallagher.
Hey, we’d pay to see that. LOL
Way to go Sarah! I was recently on a plane going into Pockistan (Obamaspeak) sitting next to a muslim. Somehow we got on the subject of Obama. The man had high thoughts of him... well, you know why, because Obama is a muslim. At least in the muslim world he is. I brought up the subject of abortion with the man. I asked him if that wasn’t against the doctrine of Islam. He said it was. I told him about Obama’s position. He had no idea. I also asked him about homosexuality, what does Islam have to say about that? Did he know where Obama stood... of course not!
The Born Alive Infant Act should tell you everything you need to know about Obama. The man is beyond radical in his hatred for human life!
“Hell, Id take the Black Avenger over either Laura or Gallagher.”
Is he still around?
Not in my market he isn’t.
Go Sarah!!! Get the base out. I’ve been saying till I’m blue in the face: If the silent majority shows up Nov 4th, the lying Marxist baby killer won’t stand a chance.
Tear him a new one Sarah!!!!!!
Daaaaaa...Pit Bull...Pit Bull, Pit Bull, Pit Bull
Hula Skirt Optional
The Infant Born Alive Act should transcend any political philosophies, it is beyond comprehension that any HUMAN BEING with a soul would allow a baby to die.
I cannot fathom Obama being President because of his policies and his lack of any experience. But voting to allow a child to die, is just evil to me.
I think it would be a particularly effective ad, especially if it was done by Sarah.
God bless you Sarah!
