You know, I was reading on another site that the Clinton's have decided to undermine the O-man. One of the things mentioned was a hitherto unknown connection to Farakan. The Klintoons knew about it during the primaries, but thought it was too late and too explosive to use after Obama overtook Hillary. Interesting what is coming out now... FYI, the site was Jack Wheeler's To The Point News.

Jack Wheeler wrote that about three weeks ago, referencing a meeting between Bill Clinton and Richard Mellon Scaife in which Der Schlickmeister dropped the F-word (Farrakhan) on the publisher. I've been waiting ever since for the story line to surface in the media.

Another interesting development was SerpentHead James Carville's thinly-veiled hint yesterday that there will be street riots if Obama loses the election. Now Carville is a Clinton man, and such threats are damaging to Obama. All this comes on the heels of Bill Clinton's less than enthusiastic "support" for Obama.

It is clearly in Hillary!'s best interest for Obama to lose and for his supporters to feel cheated and resentful. If Hillary! is to ride to the rescue in 2012, Obama must be thoroughly discredited and politically destroyed -- just like John Edwards. The trick will be for the Clintons to keep their fingerprints off of the evidence so as not to alienate the Black vote.

Most Americans like to talk big about freedom, liberty, and the Constitution, but I just don’t see the spirit in very many Americans to get them to actually fight for those principles.

I do not agree. I believe that some mature patriotic people may feel they are nearing the end of the road and have made their peace, along with some patriotic youth with few entanglements and nothing material to lose, could feel especially compelled to storm the ramparts if the time ever came. I was a Conservative from birth and learned to be even more nationalistic in the BSA and the USAF.

Yes, when you look at it from the cui bono? angle, Hillary would certainly be the beneficiary of an Obama loss. I'd also like to think--and maybe this is wishful thinking--that the one-time Goldwater girl has a some vestigial love of country in her. At some level she sees that Obama will ruin a lot of things that she truly loves.

In any case, both Klintoons are both damning Obama with faint praise on the campaign trail. If it's true that Rendell is going to supress vote fraud in Philly and Pittsburg, McCain might really have a shot at PA. I don't give a hoot about the Klintoons' motives at this point.

Strange times. Can you imagine that we might have to thank Hillabeast and Bubba for ensuring McCain's victory and suppressing 'Rat vote fraud?

cui bono?

Ah -- a man after my own heart! Long ago, my father taught me to weigh every event with that piercing question. "Who benefits?" indeed.

And you brought up another key factor. Ed Rendell is also a Clinton man, and the Philadelphia vote machine will not run without his instruction. Silence from Rendell means a McCain victory in Pennsylvania.

Maybe he's been promised the V.P. slot in 2012 if he can keep PA out of the O-man's column? Who knows. I'd hate to be in the postition of having to trust the Klintons for anything.

“one-time Goldwater girl has a some vestigial love of country in her”

I don’t think so, don’t get carried away. Hillary has no love for this country, Obama or not. If this is true about Obama, she and Bill and responsible for him. If Obama’s not it, Hillary is still a candidate for you know what.

I worry if this man is elected.

You should deeply worry. The Transcript of what Farrakhan said is on the website of Nation of Islam's official newspaper. He proclaims Obama the messiah TWICE in one speech, the other time being:

“Would God allow Barack to be president of a country that has been so racist, so evil in its treatment of Hispanics, Native Americans, Blacks? Would God do something like that? Yeah. Of course he would. That’s to show you that the stone that the builders rejected has become the headstone of the corner. This is a sign to you. It’s the time of our rise. It’s the time that we should take our place. The future is all about you,” Min. Farrakhan said, offering a warning as well. “I ask that we pray for our brother. I’m not asking for votes. I’m asking a nation, the Nation of Islam and people of goodwill, pray for this young man and his family,” because a lot of impediments have been thrown in his path.
The reference to "the stone the builders rejected" occurs several times in the Bible in reference to Christ:
Luke 20:17 But Jesus looked at them and said, "What then is this that is written: 'THE STONE WHICH THE BUILDERS REJECTED, THIS BECAME THE CHIEF CORNER stone'?
Why would the head of Nation of Islam be referring to Christ? In Islam, there is a prophecy that Christ will return, but His return will signal the final war where Muslims rise up and conquer the rest of the world

These references coming from Farrakhan should be cause for grave concern. He is being very open that there WILL be trouble from the Muslims in November.
