Yes it has changed a lot for sure. for one thing, the road is closed at the old highway 39 road. You can’t get over to Wrightwood anymore. That part was the most interesting. You can’t get to Dawson Saddle or Baden Powell from the west. I’m sure the funding to keep the road open went to save the whales or something......

Ah, yes, Wrightwood. I spent many a time in Wrightwood in a friend’s cabin and a belly full of beer. Ah, youth! It is wasted on the young. :)
