You can forget about the First and Second Amendments. They’ll be history.
They’ve done it before and will do it again. IF the fairness doctrine were in place AND REALLY FAIR, we’d be leading in the polls.
They can try to suppress free speech-it won’t work. No one is better than the commies in China at doing it, and they can’t. Conservatives can move to satelite radio, and if the left shuts that down they’ll move to the internet. The will try but it won’t work. The right in this country is being pushed to the point of revolt-(the anger we saw at the McCain-Palin rally in WI was very encouraging). The sooner the battle starts the better.
I guess under Obama and troops we will cesas to be the USA and will become the United Socialist States of America...and the Obama logo will replace the stars and bars..
This will be Bush’s and the Republican controlled congress’ greatest failure : Not crushing the Dimocrat party and their allies when they had the chance . This would have consisted of defunding Leftist groups (ACORN) and passing safeguard legislation for the alternative media .
The Dims are not afraid of wielding power to crush their opponents and we are on the verge of being on the receiving end of the ruthlessness of total DimocRat control . It’s going to be a very bumpy ride from which we might never recover ....

Good night, I grow weary of my fellow conservatives willingness to whine and let them destroy this great country and its freedoms...purchased with blood. Not everything can be won in the vaunted "marketplace of ideas". Was King George persuaded by rhetoric? There may come a time where posting on FR will not be enough. And NO this is not radical hyperbole unless you call what the Founders did radical hyperbole. And if you do, there is indeed no hope.
