Worst flood since 1973 if I remember correctly. I was in the flood of 1973. I remember riding my Norton Motorcycle down the River Road ( Then TCH) and the water level with the pavement for most of the way. Memorable ride. Like doing 70 on the beach.

I kind of wish we did have provisions for coalition minority governments in Canada. It’d be interesting to see just how long it would take for a Lib-NDP coalition to fall apart. Probably less than a year, I’d guess.

Have you read the book “Braking Point” by Mario Cardinal?
It’s about the 1995 referendum. The author’swriting style gets a little dense but all in all, it’s fairhande treatment of the whol referndum.
